To further strengthen the robustness and scalability of our IMS platform, we are building a dedicated Level 3 engineering team focused on advanced debugging, root cause analysis, and production excellence.

As a Platform DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & Python (m/f/d), you will support the stability and operability of our cloud-native IMS platform.

You will contribute to improving product observability, automation, and CI/CD processes, helping ensure reliable and efficient customer deployments.

This role is ideal for proactive junior to mid-level engineers who enjoy working with modern cloud-native systems and see this as an opportunity to grow into a key contributor driving continuous improvement in usability, operability, and developer experience.

Tasks

What you will do as Platform DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & Python (m/f/d):

Support the resolution of production issues in cloud-native environments
Contribute to hotfix and temporary image release processes
Improve product observability, logging, and monitoring of our platform
Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Support Kubernetes-based deployments and configuration
Collaborate closely with L2 support, QA, and R&D teams
Continuously improve tooling and platform supportability

Requirements

What we are looking for
This role is open to junior and mid-level engineers with 1–3+ years of relevant professional experience who are motivated to grow in a cloud-native engineering environment.
We are looking for proactive engineers who move fast, take ownership, and enjoy solving real production problems.

Strongly preferred

Experience with Helm, Grafana, Prometheus
Exposure to release engineering or hotfix processes
Experience with AWS
Understanding of distributed systems concepts
Background in telecom or communication systems
Hamburg-based or willing to relocate
