We’re hiring a talented IMS Software Architect (m/f/d) to lead the design and evolution of our IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) solution. As an IMS Software Architect (m/f/d), you will define and drive the architecture of next-generation IMS components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with 3GPP standards. You will collaborate closely with product, R&D teams, and cross-functional groups to deliver future-proof telecom solutions.

Tasks

What you will do

Provide architectural guidance on cloud-native network functions (CNF).
Partner with development teams to ensure architectural compliance and best practices.
Implement complex requirements in an easy and effective manner using C/Go/Python languages.
Define performance, scalability, and resiliency targets for IMS components.
Define end-to-end architecture for new IMS core components (e.g., P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, BGCF, HSS/UDM, TAS).
Ensure alignment with 3GPP and ETSI standards for IMS and VoLTE/VoNR solutions.
Design scalable, cloud-native, microservices-based IMS components.
Work with product management to translate business requirements into architectural blueprints.
Prepare high-level and low-level design documents, architecture diagrams, and interface specifications.

Requirements

Our ideal new colleague

Extensive experience designing IMS network elements and understanding of IMS call flows
Strong knowledge of SIP, Diameter, RTP, and other telecom protocols.
Experience with cloud-native architectures, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of VoLTE, VoWiFi, and 5G voice solutions (VoNR).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Experience with Kamailio, FreeDiameter, or similar open-source telecom frameworks.
