We are looking for a People Operations Manager (Part-Time, 50%-75%) to join our office in Hamburg or Berlin. In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating smooth and efficient processes that support our employees at every stage of their journey. You will take ownership of essential operational tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a great experience for our growing team.
Tasks
What you’ll do  

  • Own and manage all administrative processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding policies, processes, and administrative matters.
  • Ensure correct and compliant contract management, including amendments, work certificates, and documentation.
  • Coordinate payroll preparation in collaboration with external tax advisors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer and optimize our HRIS (Personio), ensuring accurate employee data, reporting, and system improvements.
  • Support employees with benefits administration, enrollments, and any operational requests.
  • Handle Acertificates and necessary documents for remote work and business travel abroad.
  • Ensure compliance with German labor laws while continuously optimizing policies and processes through automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Support and enhance a positive company culture by fostering engagement, well-being, and a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
Our ideal new colleague  

  • At least 3 years of experience in HR administration or People Operations, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of German labor law and experience working with external payroll providers.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, preferably Personio, and a data-driven approach to processes.
  • A structured and detail-oriented way of working with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to improve and automate processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in German (fluent) and English (very good level).
